Two Wives and A Spark

May 11, 2021

Do the best you can until you know better. Then, when you know better, do better.” Maya Angelou

In today’s episode of Two Wives and A S.P.A.R.K, we will be talking about what it takes to do better with our words and actions when it comes to interracial connections and conversations.

We talk about something called “the intention gap” and invite our community to reflect on the difference between intent and impact. We also invite folks to ask the following questions:

  1. What truly is my intention when saying certain things?
  2. Why am I acting this way?
  3. How am I holding myself accountable?
  4. What do I have to work on to be better?

Join us on this episode and explore what it will take to get toward racial equity, racial justice, and racial harmony together.
